TLDR: I'm a software developer interested in Augmented Reality, @proto, and local LLMs. I play video games, listen to/write music, hike, and have a dog. Stay tuned for details on all these things and more.

I've been working in IT for about 5 years. While the sun is out, I spend my time working with PLM systems, Microsoft technologies, and building AI tools. When the sun sets and the babies are put to sleep, I dawn my Apple Vision Pro, cape, and athleisure attire to assume the role of an Apple Platform developer.

I entered this industry due to my passion for technology, particularly in the augmented reality space. Since it's private beta, I've also been very interested in @proto and the idea of an open social platform. I also like playing around with local, on-device LLMs and have made a few neat tools with FoundationModels.

When I find myself drained, I like to decompress by playing video games, listening to music, or watching videos with Jupiter looming in the background. After nearly 10 years, I am also trying to relearn guitar. I played a little when I was younger but was only good enough to be "campfire dude", playing your basic chords.

When I have time, I like to travel the state to go to different parks and wildlife areas with my wife and Australian Cattle Dog.

It's my goal to spend the next year building in public and sharing my experiences across the open social web. Stay tuned for more leafs.
